Committee for the First Amendment: Revived by Jane Fonda on October 1, 2025 (the original was organized by her dad and other artists like Lucille Ball, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra and more stood together against McCarthyism), the Committee for the First Amendment is a large collective of artists, storytellers, and cultural leaders standing together to defend free expression against government repression, industry complicity, and intimidation.
